Daft as a Brush 2016-17

Each of our schools continue to support local charity Daft as a Brush.

In the summer we were delighted to be invited to the headquarters in Gosforth to sing as a group of 860 children 'The Water of Tyne'. This event was held to launch the River Tyne Trail.

We were also lucky enough to watch the 20,000 Christmas tree lights being switched on in November 2016. Each light represented a journey made by a patient with the support of Daft as a Brush in 2016.

Whilst the schools have undertaken various events a Daft Day is planned for on Thursday 25th May. How daft can everyone be? What is the daftest thing we can come up with to raise money as a group of schools?
