What a brilliant achievement from the Trust Schools to raise so much money for NECCR.
It was great to see the flags and banners for so many of our schools flying high in the Schools' Meeting Area and then again at the finish line.
Families and staff came together to run, waddle, walk, crawl and limp the 1, 3 or 5-mile route around Gosforth Park.
The smiling faces were still happy and very proud at the end as everyone sat down to eat their picnic wearing their medals. Some faces were a little red - mostly the grown-ups who had been chasing the younger members all the way!
